Picture this: a vibrant, blue and white custom-designed Candy Buffet filled to the brim with colourful treats and styled to perfection to match the high-energy atmosphere of the AO. Whether guests were after a quick sugar hit between matches or something to take home in our personalised AO candy boxes, our buffet served up all of the crowd favourites – and then some.
We curated a selection of 13 premium candy and chocolates to suit all tastes, including: Chocolate Honeycomb, Clinkers, Jelly Beans, Chocolate Beans, Milk Bottles, Milky Buds, Clouds, Fruit Drops, Mini Lollipops, Fizzoes, White Chocolate Freckles, Multicoloured Witchety Grubs and Chocolate Bullets.
Our Donut Wall was an absolute showstopper! Featuring two large walls set up side by side with the iconic AO logo proudly displayed across them, it made for an eye-catching and mouth-watering focal point. These delicious donuts flew off the walls, proving to be an amazing crowd-pleaser. Guests couldn’t get enough of the sweet treats, adding an extra layer of fun and indulgence. Smiles were everywhere as people enjoyed the perfect combination of great entertainment and irresistible donuts.
We provided a sweet break for the local and international press – a thoughtful and much-loved touch in the media centre. With long hours and tight deadlines, our Candy Buffet offered a welcome moment of indulgence, giving journalists and photographers a chance to recharge. This was also a fantastic opportunity to highlight the AO brand through subtle but highly effective marketing techniques. Every element was carefully considered – from colour-coordinated treats to custom branding – ensuring the brand was front and centre in a tasteful, memorable way.
In fact, our relationship with Tennis Australia spans more than a decade. We’ve proudly partnered with them year after year for the past 12 years, bringing something fresh, fun and exciting to each Australian Open. It’s always such an honour to be trusted with enhancing the experience of such a world-class event.
There’s something so special about being part of Melbourne’s biggest moments. Bringing a little extra fun to the Australian Open was such a highlight for our team, and seeing guests and clients light up when they spotted the Candy Buffet and Donut Wall made every second worth it.
